Most Exciting Race at Atlanta Motor Speedway?
What is being hailed as one of the most exciting races in Atlanta Motor Speedway history saw no lack of excitement at its airport either.
Daniel Suerez, a Trackhouse Racing driver, took the checkered flag at the Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.


YouTube Star Dan Gryder of Probable Cause Flies Historic Aircraft
Whether it was Dan Gryder, from the YouTube channel Probable Cause, performing a low pass on Friday with his 1937 DC-3 or the Henry County Sheriff’s Department Bell Ranger performing a high-speed low pass this weekend showcased the best of general aviation
Par for the course, Victory Airlines ruled the tarmac with their expansive fleet of ERJ145s. We saw more flights from Netjets than usual, as well as, Wheels Up. I spoke with a pilot from Wheels Up who said they were busier than ever.
Wind Gusts
Flights arriving or departing on Saturday faced 35+mph wind gusts but few clouds most of the weekend. I spoke with a Victory Air pilot who said that on their short final once they dropped below the tree line they lost 20knots.
Tyler, a flight instructor for Tier One Helicopters led some hovering instruction off the runway just below the tree line where it was calm. Luckily for me, the extra weight I brought to attach to my tripod kept the camera steady and stable.

Rick Ware Racing Joins NASCARs Flying Armada
New to the NASCAR flying armada is Rick Ware Racing who is flying an ERJ like DEI and Victory Air.
