Eligibility:

Three Career Paths:

Delta Propel Career Pathway

   Delta Propel offers three different pathways to becoming a Delta pilot:

   – College Path: For students currently enrolled in a four-year aviation degree program at one of Delta’s partner universities.

– Company Path: For current Delta employees (from any department) who aspire to become a pilot.

   – Military Path: For current or former military pilots who want to transition to Delta.

Accelerated Career Path:

   – Once accepted, participants get a Qualified Job Offer (QJO) from Delta, ensuring a pathway to a Delta First Officer position upon meeting all program and certification requirements.

   – Pilots typically advance to a Delta First Officer role within 42 months of beginning the program.

Support and Mentorship:

   – Participants get ongoing support, including mentorship from Delta pilots, to help them navigate their training and career progression.

   – Delta provides financial assistance, resources, and guidance throughout the program.

Structured Training:

   – The program provides a structured training timeline, with participants gaining experience at one of Delta’s Connection Carriers or other flying opportunities before transitioning to Delta.

   – Participants must complete specific milestones, including earning required certifications, building flight hours, and completing simulator training.

– Supportive Network: Access to Delta’s vast network of professionals, resources, and training facilities.
