Embraer E170

The Embraer Eโ€‘170 is the smallest member of Embraerโ€™s Eโ€‘Jet family, purposeโ€‘built as a regional, narrowโ€‘body twinjet that entered service in March 2004. Typically configured with 66 seats in a twoโ€‘class layout or up to 78 in highโ€‘density format, it offers a spacious cabin, wide overhead bins, and 2โ€ฏ+โ€ฏ2 seating with no middle seats. Powered by two General Electric CF34โ€‘8E turbofan engines (each producing roughly 14,200โ€ฏlbf), the Eโ€‘170 cruises at about Machโ€ฏ0.82 (โ‰ˆโ€ฏ870โ€ฏkm/h) and can fly around 2,100โ€ฏnautical miles (โ‰ˆโ€ฏ3,900โ€ฏkm) in its Advanced Range version. As Embraerโ€™s first Eโ€‘Jet, it helped redefine comfort and efficiency in regional aviation, combining operational flexibility with fullโ€‘size aircraft feel for both passengers and operators.
