Comparing the Embraer Phenom 300E to the Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2

The Embraer Phenom 300E is the successor to the original Phenom 300 which is a wildly popular business jet. The Phenom 300 platform has logged more than one million flight hours and is operational in over 30 countries. The Embraer Phenom 300 was introduced in 2005 and had its maiden flight in 2008.

The 300E features a new interior and upgraded avionics. It is also the first single-pilot jet to have reached a speed of Mach 0.80. Part of the new 300E avionics suite includes safety features like a runway overrun awareness and alerting system, predictive windshear, Emergency Descent Mode, PERF, TOLD, FAA Datacom, and many others. 

The Embraer Phenom 300 sports fully reclining seats, which can also swivel, move forward and backward and from the VIP chair can adjust cabin temperature. 

The original Cessna Citation CJ4 came out in 2008 as well. The CJ4 Gen2 launched in 2021.

The CJ4 Gen2 launched in 2021 its improvements lie in updated air stairs, ambient lighting, skylights in the lavatory, new seating configurations, and storage improvements in the galley area. 

The CJ4 Gen2 has the Collins Aerospace Pro Line 21 avionics suite which allows one pilot to operate the aircraft, a single refueling point and an externally servicable lavatory.
