ForeFlight has introduced 3 versions of its Sentry ADS-B product. The Sentry Plus, The Sentry, and the Sentry Mini. The devices provide you with the opportunity to have a portable ADS-B and GPS receiver.
Sentry Plus
The ForeFlight Sentry Plus is packed with powerful features like DUAL-BAND ADS-B IN Traffic & Weather. The Sentry Plus has subscription-free FIS-B weather & data. It also displays animated regional and CONUS NEXRAD, METARs, TAFs, AIR/SIGMETs, PIREPs, textual winds and temps aloft, TFRs, NOTAMs, and SUA information on ForeFlight Mobile.
G-METER with digital display
Monitor your in flight G-Loads with the G-Meter available only on the ForeFlight Sentry Plus. Additional features include the ability to launch Track Log Review with a G-Load layer for comparisons with speed, pitch, bank and altitude.
Built-In AHRS for Backup Attitude
One of the fundamentals of aircraft safety revolves around the idea of redunacy. With the Sentry+ you’ll have Attitude Heading Reference System. You’ll be able to monitor your pitch and bank in real time as the ForeFlight app on the iPad provides you a backup glass cockpit with Synthetic Vision.
