As you may know, I recently had the distinct pleasure of being the first to take a picture of Tyler Perry’s Bombardier Global 7500. I also was there to film one of his last flights aboard his Embarer E-190 before he took delivery. Little did I know at the time though Perry had a fear of flying but essentially took immersion therapy for it and got his pilots license.
One of my favorite parts of doing what I do with planes is digging in to who owns the plane, what they do for a living, etc. but when you have someone like Tyler Perry then its obvious what he does for a living so then I try to learn more about them as a person.
Perry has had an absolutely incredible life from the most unimaginable lows to seemingly the highest of highs. So learning about him having a fear of flying and earning his wings was inspiring. I’m a big believer in the power of immersion therapy for overcoming fears. But anyways, we are here for the airplane talk so here’s what else I learned.
