KANB
KANB is the airport in Anniston despite being surrounded on all sides by the city of Oxford. It is weird. This is also hard for me to write, as Anniston, is the closest airport to me and is in my hometown but there’s not a single solid spot to work from here nor is the staff friendly (in my experience, at least)
If I had to spot at KANB then I would pick the parking lot in front of the National Guard building on Meadow Avenue. The airport sees occasional cargo traffic, a few local private jets, and the occasional military operation
I don’t want to spend a lot of time writing about KANB because I’m a little bitter about this place. Maybe one day I’ll have a positive interaction that I can write about. If you have any experience here then I’d love to hear it!
